Project Twenty-Four ⏰
Highlighting Experiences and people in my life
Motivate people to pursue their passions
Hustle and grind
Those of you who follow me on social might know that I am a huge fan of productivity, working smart, working hard, and doing everything for a reason. Throughout my upbringing, I've always dreamed of immersing myself in an environment like Silicon Valley, but never thought I would have the opportunity to do so. People here are extremely productive, smart, passionate, and they work on things outside of their day job. Aside from their day jobs jobs, I've noticed that people grind on side projects like this one, startups like @Craveit, volunteer opportunities for awesome organizations like Code Tenderloin, networking events, online classes, gym, reading books and articles on LinkedIn. I hope to use creative content to highlight these stories and show others that we are capable of achieving our goals and aspirations if we do less of the distractions in our daily lives, use our time wisely, focus, and work hard. HUGE shoutout to Phat for all of his amazing work with the video production on this project. Reach out to him if you are looking for someone to help with your content.
Goals for this project:
- Give an inside look of my daily life, productivity hacks, and passion projects
- Capture the story of a Latino working in tech
- Highlight some of the most driven people that I surround myself with
- Motivate others to aspire for more productivity and encourage them to work towards their goals & aspirations
- Serve as a platform to showcase Phat Tran's video production talent
You've got Twenty-Four hours each day and time is the most expensive commodity, use it wisely. Figure out what your'e passionate about. Understand what you're good at. Find the intersection, set goals to pursue your passion, and execute.

I started Project Twenty-Four to show people that you have a lot more time in your day than you think. When properly spent on things that you are most passionate about, learning, and growing, you’d be amazed at how much you can get done. Our first video gave you an inside look at my 9-5 job, a day at LinkedIn. This second video is meant to show you that even after work, I still make the effort to pursue one of my biggest passions- Dj’ing. Hours every night practicing, marketing myself, networking and creating content to get gigs like this.
You’ve got 24 hours in the day. If you sleep 6-7, work for 8, and commute for 1-2, you’re still left with a good 7 hours. Even that 1-2 hour commute could be invested in something like podcasts, or for me, that is listening and learning the new tracks that I will be mixing at my next gig. That aside, you’ve still got a solid 7 hours to do anything you want. Pursue that passion and stop making excuses that you don’t have time, because you do. You just don’t make it a priority. Not sure how much ROI you’ll get from binge watching 5 hours of Breaking Bad will give you, but 5 hours of practicing and perfecting your craft will position you in a much better place each and every day.
My audience for this project is not everyone. But it is for the people that make excuses for not doing things that they love to do because they don’t “have time” or “are too tired”. Drink a cup of coffee and go do something. Create.
*Could not thank Phat enough for all of his help with this project. You're crazy talented and one of the goals for this project was to help showcase those talents so that others can hire you for their projects. Glad I am able to serve as a platform to help you do that. Reach out to Phat on IG if you're interested in working with him: @phatran
